Home loan interest and principal amount deduction

26 December 2013 Dear professionals,

A person can claim home loan interest and principal amount deduction in his ITR, however property is register in the name of his spouse.

spouse is co applicant in home loan.

If person is not owner of property he can not claim any deductions.
