Dear Pradeep, Write to the point answer, write according to marks allotted. Often we write more in answering a question on topic we know very well. So write only what is required even though you know a lot more about that topic. Division of time to question is also important as mentioned by above Arwinder ji.

For writing effectively try to write in points and to make it clear always write each point in a new line.It will give you a better presentation too.
