16 November 2009 Head Office of the company is a main office where the company regsitered with Registrar of Companies. that called Registered office. And meaning of Regional office when company open the office out of state & covered some branch office that called Regionwise office. This type of office operate in govt. sector or limited concern.

The registered office of the company means that office of the company which has been notified /registered vide Form No 18 with ROC as per section 146 of the Act and to which all communications/notices can be addressed. Whereas if a company has many branch offices for its working besides the main office at a particular place that main office will be known as HEad office. The Head office can also be a registered office if the same has been notified to ROC vide Form 18 as the Registered office.
