24 April 2019 With Central Excise being replaced by GST, can proceedings with respect to pre GST period still be initiated under Central Excise if no proceedings/show cause notice has been issued till date ?

24 April 2019 i am not sure , but yes they can do as they are still in existence until their last audits are done
