we had service tax registration .so we have migrated to gst. but we have not filed any gst return yet. can we cancel the gst registration without filing any gst return?

For the period you were registered you are required to file GST returns.

No... You can't cancel the registration without filing returns and any liabilities then You will settle. Then you can cancel the registration...
