12 February 2014 I want to import goods in own brand name. The same goods are also being manufactured by me and central excise duty is being paid on the same. Whether central excise duty is payable on imported goods.

15 February 2014 No need to pay excise duty on imported goods if you do not any activity on imported goods. Same premises both activity are not possible.

23 February 2014 please quote the relevant rule/ circular by which both activities of manufacture and trading in the same premises are not allowed.
