21 June 2014 is there any compulsory rule for doing GMCS 1 in st year of articleship and if i am not able to do then what is the consequences..with notification no.

21 June 2014 while ICAI does prescribe that you need to complete GMCS-I within first year of articleship, no penal provisions have been prescribed yet.

23 June 2014 but i hav to reply to my boss...he want that i will do gmcs in my next year of articleship

23 June 2014 well when it comes to principal, you need to just show the regulation that ICAI mandates completion of GMCS in the first year itself.
