Gift received from relative who has agriculture income

26 January 2011 sir, if an individual recceive gift from his relative and that relative has agriculture income but did not file the tax return then will such gift exempt? pls guide

(ii) Condition for exemption of gift on occasion of marriage. how can we claim exemption for such gifts and what will be the documentaion for that
