I would like to know the formalities for becoming FFMC.

You have to register yourself with RBI and procure the licence after undergoing several formalities. Go to any branch of RBI to get all the forms and details. The licence is to be renewed every year with proper certificate from Chartered Accountant and your accounts must be audited
