Our Client has taken an Franchisee Agreement from ZEE KIDZEE.(Franchisor)

Whether our client is liable for service tax registration on his receipts.

14 July 2013 Any service which is not listed in the negative list/mega notification is taxable. If franchisee's income crosses 10 lacs per annum, he is liable to pay on his franchise income (must be commission basis?)

15 July 2013 My query is that they are collecting fees from students as Play Home Fees,LKG and UKG and giving receipt for the same.

So for that Receipt raised also whether they are liable to pay service tax.
