Form ct-1

This query is : Resolved

13 June 2012 Please suggest how to get issue Form CT-1 or please provide number of consultants who look excise matters in delhi.

14 June 2012 You really dont need a consultant.

If you intend to carry out third party exports as being a merchant exporter, you need to apply to 'Maritime Commissioner' for execution of Export Bond.

The procedure is clarified in the act.

Its simple, try it, before your seek assistance.

I am sure you can do it.

14 June 2012 Dayal, Can you please let me know how to execute bond and in what manner security is to be provided

14 June 2012 Dear Sir,

A detailed Notification is there for getting the CT-1 Form for procurement of excisable goods for export without payment of duty. A General Bond B1 has to be executed by the merchant exporter (Form B1 format is in the excise manual) and a bank guarantee is to be submitted for 25% of the Bond value. In some commissionerate, the Deputy/Asst Commissioner (Exports) is authorised to accept the bond and to issue the CT-1 form.

The bond will be valid for one year and can be renewed. This can be attended by the exporter himself without consultant.

Any further query, please reply.
