Could you please help me on below query:

I have calculated TDS on Salary for X employee is Rs.20,000/- but i have deducted TDS on salary for whole year is Rs.15,000/- and the balance of Rs.5,000/- can be show as payable while issuing the form 16. is it possible?

12 January 2011 yes, but the salary proportionate to Rs. 5000 will be disallowed under sec.40(ia)
