19 February 2013 I WANT TO KNOW THE PASSING MARKS IN IPCC UNIT
BY. SUCH AS IN GROUP 1 WE HAVE TO OBTAIN 200 MARKS OUT OF 400 AND IN EVERY PAPER MORE THAN
40. LIKE AS WHAT IS THE METHOD OF UNIT BY EXAM.

PLZ GIVE ME ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

19 February 2013 You have to minimum score 40 marks in each paper. And 60 marks for exemption (so that you don't need to give that paper again, even if u don't clear)
And 200 marks means minimum 50% for passing the whole group.
suppose if you have
40,60,51,49 respectively. Then it gets total to 200 marks. And you'll be declared as Pass. But in case you score 48 in last exam and grand total doesn't get 200 then you have to give all papers except that exam in which you scored 60 marks (exemption).

And while giving both group your 50% is calculated by the total of all subjects ( means both groups) not just one group.

that's why suppose if one person got 199 in first group and 201 in second group. He will still be declared as pass as his aggregate is 50%.

Hope you understood.

Take care!

20 February 2013 Sir I want to know about unit by unit exam

can i give unit by unit exam not as group 1
so if i can give according to unit so what is the passing procedure of this.

20 February 2013 You have to appear in all papers of group1 if you want to secure exemption in a particular subject.

for example suppose you got 60 marks in law. But you didn't give all exams. then such marks would not be considered as exemption.

And for passing the criteria is still the same you have to score minimum 40 marks in each exam. And 50% in aggregate.
Now you won't get the benefit of setoff as I discussed in earlier reply.
