For filling excise return

If we are registered under central excise as a manufacturer Depot. in relevant my two questions
1. Firstly we required file the excise return Yes Or No? kindly give the answer with central excise rules.
2. we pay the differential duty on sale through the at our unit each & every month with interest.
Kindly give the answer on urgent basis.

20 December 2013 Yes, required to file excise return for registered premises under rule 12 of central excise rules. If you have to do the value addition in the depot then duty will be payable on the additional value.
