I am a CA Final student and i had cleared my P.E.-II Exams on 1 Sep. 2009 and my articleship was also started on the same day. I am in need of information related to my Final examination attempt. Please provide me with the information that when will be my attempt for Final Examination will become due. As i heard from somewhere my attempt will due in Nov.2011, So can i know that IFRS and ammendments in LAW will become applicable for my attempt.
1. **Articleship Start Date**: September 1, 2009 2. **PE-II Exam Cleared Date**: September 1, 2009
Since you cleared your PE-II exams on September 1, 2009, and started your articleship on the same day, your attempt for the CA Final exams typically becomes due after 2.5 years from the commencement of articleship, which is the normal duration for articleship training.
Considering this timeline:
- Articleship Start Date: September 1, 2009 - Normal Duration of Articleship: 3 years
Your attempt for the CA Final exams would be due approximately 2.5 years from September 1, 2009, which would be around March 1, 2012 (assuming a standard 3-year articleship period).
However, the exact attempt dates are scheduled by ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), and you would need to verify the specific exam dates and eligibility criteria from the ICAI website or official communications.
### Applicability of IFRS and Amendments in Law:
Regarding the applicability of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and amendments in Law:
- **IFRS**: IFRS became applicable for CA Final exams from May 2011 onwards. Since your attempt is expected in November 2011, IFRS would indeed be applicable for your attempt.
- **Amendments in Law**: Amendments in Law are regularly updated by ICAI, and you should refer to the latest study material and notifications from ICAI to ensure you are studying the most current amendments applicable for your attempt.
### Next Steps:
1. **Check ICAI Notifications**: Visit the ICAI website or contact your regional ICAI office to confirm the exact attempt dates and any updates regarding IFRS and amendments in Law.
2. **Prepare Accordingly**: Study the relevant IFRS standards and amendments in Law as per the latest study material provided by ICAI to prepare effectively for your CA Final exams.
3. **Stay Updated**: Keep track of any announcements or revisions made by ICAI regarding syllabus, exam patterns, or eligibility criteria for the CA Final exams.
By following these steps, you can ensure that you are well-prepared and informed for your upcoming CA Final exams with the latest knowledge of IFRS and amendments in Law applicable for your attempt.
