If a MNC has fixed assets in different locations and in different countries and a transfer of fixed asset is done from one location to another. Then is it necessary to make any change in the fixed asset register.

Location or address of the assets is a part of FAR. So if you are maintain FAR and there is a change in the location of fixed assets, then an entry pertaining to the same should be done in FAR.
