can u please tel how many times a new finance act is made in a year and when it become applicable i.e in which F.Y

01 September 2010 finance act is passed once in a year only. Its an annual feature. However sometimes if the lok sabha is going to elections in between the presentation of the budget and discussion two finance acts are passed.
