This query is : Resolved

21 June 2014 Dear sir/mam.....

my articles commencement period is 24-4-2014 and i have excess leave of 53 days when will my attempt comes...

now i want to take termination with my auditors consent on medical grounds.so now i have to take 3 months leave..if i take that then what will my final attempt comes..

help me ...........

21 June 2014 In first cast it comes to May'17, coz ur actual 30 months comes to 24.10.16.

In second case it will also remains same.

21 June 2014 sorry actually my commencement day is 24-4-2013

21 June 2014 So less 1 year, so it will b May'16.

21 June 2014 thank you for your kind information..sry mistakenly i typed my commencement date as 24-4-2014 but it is 24-4-2013

If my commencement is on 24-4-2013 actually it has to complete on 24-4-2016.due to 53 excess days leave( i.e Supplementary articles to do after actual completion date i.e on 24-4-2016 )it will become 16-6-2016...when i inquired, my friends told that "53 days will not affect" and i will get nov 2015 attempt...

now if i take 3 months leave it will become 16-9-2016...

plz tell when will my attempt comes. ..i am so much confused because some are telling that "your actual final attemp wil not affect and you just have to do the remaining supplymentary articles only"

plz help me my , parents are so tensed and i have no answer for them plz help me....

21 June 2014 Ravi carefully listen. U r eligible to finals only if u have completed 30 MONTHS of Articles and is serving last 6 months of articles. And if u have availed more leave from the figures decided by ICAI then ur Articles will b extended, for that Number of days. So, if those 53 days and 3 months r ur excess leave then ur both Articles and Attempt will b delayed.

21 June 2014 according to ICAI an articled student can avail a leave of 180 days but in my case leave is 53days excess leave + 3 months medical leave taking for termination on medical grounds i.e together 143 days less than 180 days na sir...my leave is less no sir

22 June 2014 sir i want to take termination on medical grounds my auditor is so supportive to give termination....my medical reason is urinary track infection and ulcers in my stomach due to hostel food...will ICAI permit me to get termination

23 June 2014 Yes y not? If all the reasons r favorable then ICAI will not oppose. But remember to take medical certificate from Government Hospital.

23 June 2014 thank you for your kind and quick information i consulted a govt doctor i explained him my problem he is telling to get certificate as jaundice..will ICAI accept for this reason

23 June 2014 May be, just confirm. As per me Jaundice is not a valid reason for transfer.

24 June 2014 thank you for your kind response sir....

plz check this sir ....

1.a letter in my writing requesting for termination ..
2.no-objection certificate from my auditor..
3.and govt certificate for medical proof ..

is these things sufficient sir.. to whom i have to address the letters sir..

and when i have to send 109 form after 3 months leave or with above letters....
