07 July 2024 Facing an error message like "Error Type Error Message" on the MCA portal can be frustrating, especially when there's a pending deadline for filing like in your case with form CHG-4. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

1. **Clear Browser Cache and Cookies**:
Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve issues related to form submissions on government portals. Try clearing them and then attempt to upload the DSC affixed document again.

2. **Use a Different Browser or Device**:
Switching to a different web browser or device can sometimes help resolve portal issues. If you were using Chrome, try Firefox or Edge, for example, and see if you encounter the same error.

3. **Check File Format and Size**:
Ensure that the document you are trying to upload meets the required format (typically PDF) and size limits specified by the MCA portal. Oversized files or incorrect formats can lead to upload failures.

4. **Verify Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) Validity**:
Ensure that your DSC is valid and recognized by the MCA portal. Sometimes issues arise if the DSC has expired or if there are technical issues with its configuration.

5. **Contact MCA Helpdesk**:
Since you've already raised a grievance on the MCA portal, follow up with their helpdesk for a resolution. Provide them with the grievance number and details of the error message you're encountering. They should be able to provide specific guidance or escalate the issue internally.

6. **Seek Professional Help**:
If the issue persists and the deadline is approaching, consider seeking assistance from a professional who is familiar with MCA portal procedures. They may have experience dealing with such issues and can expedite the resolution.

7. **Document All Communication**:
Keep a record of all correspondence, including grievance numbers, emails, or any other communication with the MCA helpdesk or professionals assisting you. This documentation can be useful for future reference or follow-ups.

Given the urgency due to the impending deadline, it's essential to act promptly and explore these options to resolve the upload issue on the MCA V3 portal for form CHG-4.
