Filing of revised return

28 December 2016 Dear Sir,

I have filed my income tax returns ITR-2 (non audit) for AY 2015-16 on 23/09/2015 and AY 2016-17 on 11/08/2016, i have discovered some mistakes. Is is possible for me now to revised the returns for both asst years.

03 January 2017 To revise the return for AY 15-16 and 16-17, you should have filed returns for both years till 31st july the due date. Since you have filed returns beyond due date you cannot revise the return.
