What is the last date for submission of business income return ITR 4. Also what is the limit upto which return is exempt from filing Thanks manisha

If your Busines Turnover exceeds Rs 40 lacs then you have to file ITR 4 by 30th Sep. If it does not exceed above limit then last date is 31 July.
In simple words if you are liable to Tax Audit then last date is 30th Sep.
If your Total Income before deduction Under Chapter VI-A doesn't exceed basic exemption limit then you need not file the Return. If you have Business Loss then you have to file Loss return by due dateotherwise you won't be able to carry forword the Loss.
