A partnership firm was registered in Apr 2012 and PAN was obtained. Subsequently no activity was undertaken and the partners parted ways. Now should the Firm file IT returns for AY 2013-14 even though no activity has taken place beyond forming the Partnership firm?

yes, ITR of Partnership firm is to be filed mandatory even if no activities were carried out during the year.
