FBT will not be payable from 1.4.2009. The entities which were running in losses were also liable to pay FBT inspite of loss. Likewise there was also heavy tax burden on companies. Even the genuine transactions were liabile for FBT. A welcome step taken by the FM by abolishing FBT .
