Dear Experts, I want to clear my doubts on the below topics: 1. Which export scheme should a company choose? 2. What is the difference between Duty Drawback on Exports, DEPB on exports, Excise Duty refund on exports? 3. Can someone pls guide as to what analysis one should do before choosing a particular export benefit scheme.

if u can tell me which product u r going to export, then we can decide which would be better scheme.
in recent ammendments in Duty Drawback, there was huge boost for textiles, previously there was incentive for countwise, but now the incentive is one for all the counts.
Hence in my view Duty Drawback is better rather than DEPB, because you have to apply for DEPB from DGFT, for filling the application first you have to receive the total dues regarding export. Hence it may take time, if your payment gets after 90 days then u have to wait for 90 days to get BRC from bank, and without BRC, DGFT will not accept your application.
So in my view Duty Drawback is better scheme for immediate refund
Most important thing is, first we have to see what would be rate applicable, then we can take any decision.
