    I want to know that if i have Cenvat credit in books in respect of Service Tax(12%) and Excise duty(16%) but there in no balance in EDU cess a/c (2%+1%) as credit. now if i have Educatiuon Cess liability on sale/services, can i set off this with my above credit(Service Tax/Excise duty) In case of 100%EOU if they are selling material in DTA, they have to pay costom duty(BCD) on such sale, can they set off this with their Cenvat credit? pl reply

    How To Calculate Interest on TDS late deposit. on 10.04.2007 Paid Rs. 25000/- but no TDS were deducted at there time. & now on 29.02.2008 @ 2.06 % Rs. 515/- is deducted as TDS on 07.03.2008 TDS is to be deposit with interest. So how to calculate interest. Please tell me

    DERA SIR AS U REPLIED CENVAT CREDIT IS AVAILABLE BUT AS CAPITAL GODS. BUT HERE I WOULD LIKE TO SUBMIT THAT INPUT INCLUDES GOODS USED FOR MAKING CAPITAL GOODS ALSO. SO IF AVAILABLE THAN WHY NOT AS INPUT. IF POSSIBE PLEASE REFER ANY CASE LAW
