20 February 2012 In addition to above , practice the commands learnt by you. Try to apply the various inbuilt utilities while performing a task on excel sheet.

The most important thing is "Desire".
You have to make a desire. You must have a feeling or demand of a particular command, and try to search it with the Excel Help.
When we get the desired, we feel more satisfied and more demanding.

01 March 2012 learning by doing is the best technique. mere glancing through the help files and the examples will not work.
