I have registered for CS executive program for appearing in June 2014 attempt. Recently i came to know that before appearing to the exams i need complete the following two programs
1. Student Induction Program(SIP).
2. Compulsory Computer Training Program.

As Iam doing my CA articles and more ever Iam going to attempt my ca final in Nov14, I was not able to complete these programs. So please suggest me that weather there is any possibility to write CS executive Exams without completing these programs by sending request letter to CS board. If it is there please suggest me the format

NOTED THAT EXEMPTION IS ALSO AVAILABLE :

The Council of the Institute has approved the eligibility criteria for grant of exemption from undergoing Student Induction Programme (SIP) .The following candidates are exempted from under going SIP:

(i)Candidates having one year of working experience as assistant or any other post equivalent thereto by whatever name called or any other higher grade thereto in the field of Finance, Secretarial, Human Resource, Marketing, General Administration, Teaching, Research etc. in any body corporate, government body, statutory or autonomous body, public undertaking, financial institution, banks, consultancy firms, Law firms or any other organization/institution which in the opinion of the Council provides scope for adequate exposure for exemption from Students Induction Programme (SIP), or

(ii) Candidates possessing professional qualification e.g CA, CWA, LL.B, BE/B.Tech/B.Arch, MBBS, Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Businesses Administration/ Management, MCA or any other qualification as approved by the Council from time to time. “

Students seeking exemption may apply within six months from the date of registration in the Executive Programme.

The students who were enrolled on or after 1st September 2009 and yet not undergone the SIP may also apply for the exemption.


The registration for online exemption test from compulsory computer training through the above mentioned online portal is going to start from 19th November, 2011 onwards. Initially M/s Sify Software Ltd. shall be conducting online tests during weekends on Saturdays and at a later period they will extend the benefit in other days also.

All concerned students may note that initially M/s Sify Software Ltd shall be conducting online tests for the students in parallel to that of the present system of online test being conducted by M/s Aptech Ltd. Those students who have already registered with M/s Aptech Ltd for the online test are therefore advised to complete their test with M/s Aptech.Ltd at the earliest. The system of online test of M/s Aptech will be however discontinued after 31st January, 2012 and with effect from 1st of February 2012 M/s Sify Software Ltd will be the sole testing authority for ICSI. As part of the endeavor to provide better support to students, M/s Sify Software Ltd. has opened help line for students. Students can mail to icsi hlpdesk@sifyitest.com for any query or clarifications with a copy to asit.rath@icsi.edu.

All concerned students may also note that Sify Test Centers are meant for conducting online exemption test only. Students are advised not to visit the Sify Test Centres directly without registering themselves with the Sify Online Registration Portal viz. http://icsi.sifyitest.comfor allotment of centre.

You have mentioned that Sify is only for conducting Examination. Then What about 70 Hrs Program? who will conducts it?.

Is there any option that with out doing that program we can appear for that exam(I mean that Computer Test)?

How to apply

Students are required to apply online through http://icsi.sifyitest.com/ website. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted
Students are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active till the completion of the exam / certification process. This email-id will be used for communication by the testing and certification agency.
Under no circumstances, Students should not:
Share their email-id to any other person
Mention e-mail ID of any other person
In case a student does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create a new e-mail ID before applying online


Online Registration

Fill in the details from the Fee Payment Challan in the Online Application Form at the appropriate places
If you have paid using debit/credit card, fill in the requested details appropriately in the Online Application Form
Ensure that all details are filled in correctly. Click the Submit button
Retain your Registration No. and Password for further reference
Students should provide valid registration number / date of birth and register to appear for the exam
Please do not send the printout/ fee payment receipt to the Testing and Certification Agency
Validity period for the fees paid is 45 days from the date of payment realization or 1 + 1 attempt whichever is earlier

Payments can be made through online or offline by downloading the Fee Payment Challan from the site http://icsi.sifyitest.com/
Fees payable online - Examination Charges Rs.440/- + bank charges as applicable
Fees payable offline - Examination Charges Rs.440/-
Bank Charges Rs.50/-
Total Rs.490/-


Offline Mode of Payment

Download the Fee Payment challan from the site and fill in the same in clear and legible handwriting (BLOCK LETTERS)
Go to the nearest branch of State Bank of India and pay the fees using the following details
Bank : State Bank of India
Mode of Payment: Cash
Account & Branch: CBS. A/c No: 31737604121. Tidel Park Branch
Name & style: Sify Software ltd (ICSI)
Payment of Application Fee through Demand Draft/ Cheques/ Money Orders/ Postal Orders etc. will not be accepted.
Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.
Obtain Applicant's Counterfoil Copy of the Application Fee Payment Challan duly stamped by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number, (b) Journal/Scroll number, (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official
Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the admit card at the time of appearing in the online test
Without counterfoil of the fee payment challan, students will not be allowed to appear for the online test
Students are advised to keep a photocopy of the fee payment challan for future reference
Students have to wait for their registration to be authorized by Admin
Once the admin authorizes, student will be able to login using their user name / password and schedule the exam - select exam center and the date for the exam
