I have a Query regarding the income tax rebate u/s 80 C Suppose A person pay his wife education fee Rs 36000 in the p.y 2010-2011 who is dependent. Now A can take rebate 36000 u/s 80 c as a student fees in income tax return 2010-2011. Tell me can we do it ? How much deduction allowed by I.T Dept. What is limit of education/ student fee How much student fees we can take rebate. Waiting for positive response
