wheather 10 lakhs exemption applicable on service to service or assessee basis

Assessee Basis. For this you need to see taxable turnover of preceeding financial year (Total of all categories). if it crossed 10 lakh then u will be liable to service tax. and if current year turnover exceed the Rs. 9lakh then u required to tak registration number compulsory.

If a service provider is rendering more than one type of taxable services, than he has to inform about additional services also. He will not get a different registration number.
