01 March 2013 As per the Budget excise duty on readymade garments has been exempted from 1.03.13.
Please let me know whether we have to file return in the coming months.
Please reply back at the earliest.

02 March 2013 In this month you can canceled your registration after make the payment, no need to file excise return in the next month. If you are a SSI unit then next month after filing of return you can canceled your registration.

04 March 2013 Thanks for the reply.Also please let me know whether we get refund of our excise paid goods in the year 2011-12 which was returned to our godown in this year.
