22 February 2014 dear sir, excise duty rate has come down from 12.36 to 10.30 in the last budget. i want to know whether it is immediate effect or some date mentioned in the budget?

23 February 2014 It has been immediate effect from 17.2.2014 only in the chapter heading 84 and 85.
