excise duty on sale of imported gooda?

29 June 2010 my clients have imported certain goods and paid import duty & additional duty of custom. my question to all is whether my client have to pay excise duty on sale of such goods?

29 June 2010 if he is a registered dealer he will pass on duty to purchaser.

if he is not registered he can not pass on duty. but he can add duty & profit at the time of sale.

if he is manufcturer of exciseable goods he will charge duty @ that time duty applicable.

if he is expemt goods manufacturer he can not claim duty on that goods.
