I have to export some parts in which galvanised steel is used as raw material,so if i export the finished product, can i get the refund of excise duty paid on raw material or is there any way by which i can purchase the raw material without paying excise duty.

Both option are available. you can purchase the goods on payment of excise duty and get refund after export of goods under rule 18 of central excise rule 2002. Another option under rule 19(2) provides that inputs to be used for manufacture of final product to be exported can be obtained without payment of excise duty.
