Sir, I would like to know that If Factory / Premises is registered under excise in the name of Mr x having turnover exceeding 4 crores and the business is shut down by mr x. The new person Mr Y start same business in new name at the same Factory / Premises. Can Mr. Y avail SSI Exemption ( Noti. 8/2003) ?
