1.check & verify the accounts books vs.excise books ie.cenvat credit,availed,balance etc. 2.compare monthly returns. 3.compare rg-1, with monthly returns etc. 4.whether deposited on time. 5. whether capital purchase booked separatly. 6.all purchase agst which cenvat taken should be in record.
