I haven't found such shortcut, but if you change the values of A1 as some thing like ppppp you can see manually the linked cells in respective sheet. After finding it out, you may repale the values of the cell A1, with original value by pressing ^Z.

Sir,My doubt is for example in financials we link items in balance sheet, p&L and schedules to TB. If i go to TB directly can i know where each item is linked rather than going to Balance sheet, P&L and schedules to see the link.

I am not certain but you may get certain useful information in Excel Tools menu. You will find Formula Auditing command. You try them. I think you may get the solution.

Hello Juzer, Thanks for your note. No Actually it does not work. Example: Cell A1 in sheet 1= Rs.1000 Cell A1 in sheet 2= Cell A1 of sheet 1. Now if you go to cell A1 in sheet 1 and press Ctrl ] it will not work i.e it will not show you that it is linked to cell A1 of sheet 2. Please reply.

Click on Cell A1 in Sheet 1 Press "Ctrl [" U vl automatically be in Cell A1 in Sheet2 It vl certainly help u revert if need more on it.....

Then.... try 'Trace Dependents' on A1 Sheet1 An Arrow will appear Now double click on the starting point of Arrow Go To box will open There u can see which cells in which sheets are linked to the selected cell

Dear, I, myself, am using Windows 2007. U should rather ensure that u have original Windows 2007 installed. Otherwise, u should take technical assisstance from some computer expert.

I suggest u to perform the following steps once again carefully:
1. Go to Cell A1 in Sheet1 2. Click 'Trace Dependents' 3. An Arrow will appear 4. Double Click on the starting point of Arrow 5. 'Go To Box' will open 6. Select the path in 'Go To Box' 7. Click 'Open' 8. U will be taken to the linked cell
