11 January 2014 Dear Sir, Up to May 13 month my gross salary was Rs 13500/- I have received increment effected from June-13, My revised gross salary is Rs 15,500/-Although ESIC is deducted from my salary of june, July, August September -13. and company replied that it will be deduct till end half year (Apr to Sept.) please tell me it is write or wrong.

11 January 2014 Hi Hardik,

Company is correct, under ESI there is six months cycle Apr to Sep & Oct to Mar during which if ESi is once contributed it is to be deducted till the end of cycle so that benefit of ESI can be enjoyed by employee & to protect his interest.
