Hello All My client has made FDR for Rs 109000/- in March 2015. Now in March 2016 he reinvested the amount of maturity amount of Rs.118855/-. What will be the entry of reinvestment of FDR amount in Tally?. Pl give the entry. Regards

I think you can do this by passing a singe entry also as follows: New FDR a/c Dr. 118855 To Old F DR 109000 To Interest Recd on FDR 9855
