I BEG TO DIFFER WITH YOU ON THIS POINT. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN APPRECIATING SOMEONE'S REPLY OR THANKING SOMEONE. IT IS REALY ABSURD TO THINK THAT IT IS MERELY DONE TO EARN POINTS. WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF POINT HERE. IF SOMEBODY IS DOING THIS THEN HE IS SIMPLY WASTING HIS TIME. WE ARE HERE ON THIS PLATFORM TO EXPRESS OUR OPINION AND GIVE OUR VIEW. ALL OF THE EXPERTS SPARE THEIR INVALUABLE TIME FROM THEIR BUSY SCHEDULE TO PROVIDE HELP TO STUDENTS AND OTHER POEPLE. THIS PLATFORM OF CA CLUB INDIA IS UTILIZED TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE, VIEWS, OPINIONS. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN AGREEING TO SOMEONES REPLY. IT WILL RATHER CLARIFY THE DOUBTS OF PERSON ASKING THE QUESTION.

AS YOU SAY THE POINTS ARE DEDUCTED THEN SO BE IT. IN FACT I WOULD SAY REMOVE THE POINT SYSTEM. WE ALL ARE HERE TO SHARE AND ENHANCE OUR KNOWLEDGE AND NOT TO EARN POINT. YES IF SOMEBODY MISBEHAVES AND USES ABUSIVE LANGUAGE THAN IT IS A MATTER OF CONCERN.

I,too, AGREE with Sanjayji. Points earn karke koi medal milega kya? Rather than micro, think on a macro level. Many a times wrong interpretation by an expert can be challenged by other if they go through their answers. come on. we all are professionals. There are many ways of increasing points. If u feel that somebody is earning points by just writing "I Agree" then i will urge all the experts NOT TO WASTE THEIR TIME BY COMMENTING ON UR ANSWER.

15 April 2010 If there is a wrong answer given by me and if someone corrects it or points out some fault i will be the first person to accept my mistake and correct my stand. I also agree o one is perfect and no one can ever give 100% right answer. So i never said that if some wrong answer is posted by me then please do not post back. It had happened in one of the queries Sanjayji had asked where my answer was wrong and was pointed out by him and then he answer was orrected accordingly.

I do agree with Sanjayjis post where he states "WE ALL ARE HERE TO SHARE AND ENHANCE OUR KNOWLEDGE AND NOT TO EARN POINT. YES IF SOMEBODY MISBEHAVES AND USES ABUSIVE LANGUAGE THAN IT IS A MATTER OF CONCERN". But I think this has dragged too far.

What i meant to say was if you answer 10 questions in a day and if any two experts post agreed on any 5 -6 reply then an email is sent to the expert who answered the query. Correct. So if you check 2 -3 replies and in their reply you find only agreed on the post and not any other reply, so you do not see any of the other replies by the experts in turn which you may have skipped some clarification that was needed by the author of the query. So there are many chances that that post might have been unattended. So to avoid that situation only i had stated "Do not reply to threads with messages like I agree thanks, etc etc. Instead use the thank user icon just below the profile detail of the user in each post."

And if there are some point which i may have skipped then please do not hold back you reply and please try to add value with your posts. I never comments on any such posts.

LETS GET ON WITH IT. IF SOMEBODY ALWAYS WRITE AGREED IN HIS REPLY HIS ANSWERS WILL HAVE LESS VALUE AND ULTIMATELY HE WILL BE THE LOOSER.
I AM NOT AGAINST WRITING AGREED BUT IF ANY EXPERT KEEPS WRITING AGRED & AGREED ALL THE TIME THAN IT'S BAD. BUT BAD FOR HIM. WHEN I GET MAIL OF NEW REPLY SHOWING JUST AGREED, I JUST MOVE ON.

I KNOW THE INTENTION ON YOUR PART WAS NOT WRONG. I ONLY DIDNOT LIKE THE "INCRESING POINT" BIT AS IT DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.

LETS JUST WORK TOGHETHER TO MAKE THIS PLATFORM A LOT BETTER FOR STUDENTS AND OTHER PEOPLE.

Its just i got frustated by seeing posts as agreed and agreed and so posted the above post.

Yes agreed with you. Lets just work toghether to make this platform a lot better for students and other people which is the motto for CACLUBINDIA.
