13 January 2011 Can anybody tell me the term Employer Category used in ITR I form.

There are 4 options given but for person working in insurance company which option is applicable?

There are 4 options given but for person working in Non Governmental Organization which option is applicable?

14 January 2011 If person working in Insurance company - need to mention as PSU( Public sector undertaking)

If person woking Non governmental - Need to mention (OTH)-others

14 January 2011 If the Insurance Company is pertaining to private sector like HDFC, MAX, KOTAK etc. then this is not PSU.

This will come under other category.
