08 May 2012 Dear Sir,

If employees not having PAN NOS. but they getting taxable Salary. e.g. Rs. 300,000/-

in said case we have to deduct tax on salary table basis or any other basis?

Please advise.

08 May 2012 It is based on actual tax slab of employee or 20% which ever is higher.

Presumes your case, employee coming under 10% slab but no PAN means need to deduct higher rate of 20% tax
