05 March 2013 IF AN EMPLOYEE DRAWING SALARY MORE THAN RS. 6,500/- P.M. THEN, DID IT IS COMPULSORY TO DEDUCT CONTRIBUTION OF P.F. FROM HIS SALARY.

ACCORDING TO EPF ACT, 1952 BASIC PAY SUBJECT TO A MAXIMUM OF RS. 6,500/- P.M.

05 March 2013 It is not mandatory if basic salary is greater than 6500 per month.

But If you are already a member of PF, you can not stop the contribution even your basic salary exceeds 6500
