28 June 2014 I am Interested to clear my few Queries about becoming Certified Lawyer.

*Weather an holder of 3 year Bachelor Degree of law from Correspondence is Eligible.
*What is the maximum age to enrollment in Bachelor Degree of Law ( Is it 29 Yr as per Bar Association).

Kindly Support

28 June 2014 1. The correspondence Law degree doesnt allow you to practice law

2. there is no age limit for entering into 3 years law degree.

28 June 2014 But, as per different reviews and comments searched on net i have seen that for taking certificate of practice from Chambers of Bar Council u need to be less than 29 years


28 June 2014 in September 2013, the age limit for admission the law degree was removed by BCI.

"Bar Council Of India has specified that under Rule Of Legal Education 2008, clause 28 schedule 3 of 2nd rule of legel education, has no age limit for the students. Now the students can take admission in law courses without any age obligations."

with regards to enrollment to Bar, there are no age limits by most of the state Bars...Please note that BCI doesn't prescribe any age limit. It is for the state Bar council to decide on its own.
