Hai, I want to know from which assessment year onwards Educational Cess has not to be deducted alongwith tax ? Also I want to get the particular circular regarding the omission of Educational cess in TDS. Because here many deductors still deducting EC alongwith TDS. Hence I want to prove with documentary evidence and also to give complaint to the higher authorities regarding this additional deduction. Please give me the specific circular/amendment/Notification..
