If the assessee does not have an internet banking account can somebody else pay the tax on his behalf through his internet abnking account? also can the taxes be paid through one's credit card?

Perfectly said, there is no option of credit card payments yet although there it makes sense in paying through credit card as it is nothing but internet banking.
