E-MAIL FROM INCOME TAX.

13 December 2009 HELLO FRIENDS,

I HAVE SUBMITTED INCOME TAX RETURN THROUGH E-FILING PROCESS ON 31 JULY AND FOR THAT I HAVE RECEIVED A E-MAIL FROM INCOME TAX CONTAINING A FILE IN THAT THEY STATED THAT THE AMOUNT PAID/COLLECTED BY DEDUCTOR IN THAT COLUMN THEY STATED ZERO IN SOME CASE AND IN SOME THEY STATED THE AMOUNT THAT WE CLAIM FOR TDS REFUND.

NOW PLEASE HELP ME THAT IF ANYBODY GET THE SAME MAIL AND WHAT I SHOULD DO NOW?

14 December 2009 If you have claimed TDS in ITR filed and it is showing zero of some different amount in the email from IT Department i.e. some quality check tds mail', it is advisable to contact to tds deductor. He would have not filed correct details in his etds quarterly returns.You need to request him to rectify the return.
