18 May 2011 dear sir,
a domestic company received dividend from malasiya during the fy-10-11 after deducting tax i.e. Dividend - rs.100000.00
tax- 20000.00 received -rs.80000.00.
DTA- 10% with malasiya.

please suggest tax treatment in details

19 May 2011 Indian company can TRY to take credit of TDS deducted i.e. 20,000/- but I doubt whether the Indian Tax officers shall allow the same.
