One of the company has paid excess dividend distribution tax by mistake. Now under which section can we claim the excess dividend tax paid and what is the process of claiming the refund - Can we adjust it with our Income tax liabilty?

Section 115O does not contain a provision to solve the issue. As Mr.Srinivasaraghavan has rightly directed you may move a petition before the Chief Commissioner of income tax through your jurisdictional ITO.
