Director as employee

19 December 2013 According to 194J(1)(ba),TDS is deducted on remuneration of Director if same is not deducted with in the provisions of Section 192. Now my Question is,when a Director is regarded as a employee of the company?

19 December 2013 when there is employment contract of agreement with such director and co and is covered by sec 192 employee employer relations.

19 December 2013 Its depend on terms of appointment and nature of remuneration paid to him.
