26 October 2013 In a pvt ltd indian company only the director whose digital signature is recorded can sign cheques?

Whts the use of digital signature certificate for a indian pvt ltd company?

like income tax return filings

companies act,ROC returns filings
.
.
person who have received authorization from board of directors is allowed to sign on cheques...which will be supported by board resolution

27 October 2013 Digital signature has nothing to do with cheque signing.

A director not having digital signature can also be a cheque signatory through a board resolution.
